I was in 2nd grade at McKinley Elementary school when the plane crashed, just a few blocks away. My house was one block away from the school, 3 blocks away from where the plane crashed. I remember it vividly. I looked out the second story window of my classroom and saw a helicopter landing on the playing field. They wouldn't let any of us students leave until our parents came and got us, for obvious reasons. I also remember how hot it was that day.

David, very cool site. I didn't realize you were such a big part of the SD music scene. Good running into at Scotts B-day bash. If you get a chance come check out a "Stratosphere" show sometime. Kevin

Hi David,
Tried to email you but bounces back so I am trying your guestbook. I think we are 3rd cousins, if you have a William Shelton Green, David Madison Green and a David Madison Green Jr. in you line then we are related. My GGrandpa John Alexander Green was an older brother of William Shelton Green.
Would love to hear from you.

Hey...I thought I'd stop by and say hi, and check out this page. You Rock, and it's cool dude! Oh, by the way. If you have any pics of me, or video clips of shows I've done lights for...it would be cool if you let me know, I'm trying to put together a video resume. And maybe making a page for it. Not sure yet! Later, ~Bob~

I just discovered your site, and you seem like someone who needs to know about The A List at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library. It is a series of social events for hip folks interested in art and music. The next one is Feb. 1 at 7:30pm. You can find out all about it at www.ljathenaeum.org.
Happy new year!

A very brief missive, without even time to read the site (but I hope I'll get to that soon enough). The quick catch-up: I'm now halfway through a double degree at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, leaving me 2 more years here, with PhD work to follow, I expect. But in the immediate future, I'm leaving tomorrow for a week of God-knows-what in Black Rock Desert, my first time going to Burning Man. So: talk about creative sorts--something like 35,000 people bringing their own food & water to live in the Nevada desert. Much to tell after, no doubt (though there's no telling how much of what happens in the desert will of neccessity stay in the desert, to borrow a marketing catchphrase!). Anyway, more later!
