Taylor Harvey Has A Busy Month Planned!

Taylor HarveyI got an e-mail from Taylor Harvey last week to tell me about a bunch of special appearances he has scheduled this month. They start tomorrow, Friday, September 3, when The Taylor Harvey Band will play an 11 a.m. Concert On The Square at 225 Broadway Downtown. Part of the show will be televised on Channel 39 News.

Taylor also is still playing his usual solo gigs at the Chula Vista Brewery from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. on Saturday nights, and on Sunday afternoons from 3-7 p.m. at the Plank in Imperial Beach.

THE TAYLOR HARVEY BAND: A Place To Call My OwnI last saw Taylor in May at the release party he held for his latest CD, "A Place To Call My Own." I shot the picture above of Taylor at that event, which was a well-attended house concert at Cheri Robertson's home in La Mesa.

TAYLOR HARVEY: No LoiteringTaylor now has two CDs out and both are available through CDBaby.com. You can click on these pictures of them to hear samples of the songs. The older one is called "No Loitering." "A Place To Call My Own" is currently the second most-visited CD here at ShyCloud.com!

Here's the e-mail I received from Taylor:

Hey there, it's been a while since I sent anything to you regarding music, and with some really cool stuff coming up the time is certainly ripe!

Friday, Sept. 3 -- The Taylor Harvey Band will play a Concert On The Square at 11 a.m. downtown at 225 Broadway. This will be a televised event (on NBC News) and it would be great to have some people out for this one.

Friday, Sept. 10 -- We'll be at Fanny's in Spring Valley from 9-1:30. Located at 9143 Campo Rd., just north of 94 and around the corner from Bancroft, this is a great neighborhood bar with pool tables, shuffleboard and of course live music.

Saturday, Sept. 11 -- I'll be playing a house concert in Chula Vista with my old friend Gary Seiler. I'll be playing both solo stuff and some old favorites with Gary. This should be fun so if you're interested go to www.GarySeiler.com for more info.

Saturday, Sept. 18 -- The Taylor Harvey Band will be cranking it up at Blind Melon's in Pacific Beach from 4-7. It's our first time at this club so please come out and show some support.

Friday, Sept. 24 -- Tim Edwards and I will be performing a few songs on Tim Flannery's Mighty 1090 Padres Post Game Show from Redfield's in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Downtown. It starts right after the game, so if you're in the neighborhood come on down and have a drink with us.
