Eve Selis & Friends To Make A Difference
Two of my musical friends, Eve Selis and Patti Zlaket, will be on the "Locals Live" radio show between 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, October 5, to talk with host Joan Rubin about a concert they will give on Saturday, October 23, as part of the EveryDay Angels Foundation's national Make A Difference Day. Artist manager Anita York will be the main guest for Tuesday's special "Viva Las Divas!" program. Peggy Lebo and Marc Intravaia also will be on the show. This photo of Joan, Eve and Marc is from KKSM's web site.
Speaking of Joan and Patti, I'd like to thank them once again for the very kind words they said about me and ShyCloud.com when Patti was a guest on "Locals Live" in August. They thanked me for being a person who loves local music and does lots to support it, and they also complimented my photography talents. A second thank you goes to Joan for putting a link to ShyCloud.com on the "Locals Live" web page! This picture of Joan and Patti also is from the KKSM site.
Here's an e-mail from Eve:
Hey there! My good friends Peggy Lebo, Patti Zlaket, Mary Dolan and I are doing a concert on October 23rd in support of national Make A Difference Day, an annual event celebrating neighbors helping neighbors.Posted at 10:24 AM in Music
It's a benefit for the EveryDay Angels Foundation's Project Warmth, which was established to help address the needs of so many people literally left "out in the cold" each winter. There are approximately 3-and-a-half-million homeless people in cities all across our country and 39% of them are children.
To attend the concert, all we ask is a donation of a blanket or warm clothing, which will be distributed to the homeless through the Interfaith Shelter Network, so in the spirit of "Do You Know Me," please join us on October 23 in making a difference.
Eve Selis & Friends “Make A Difference” WHERE: Seaside Church of Religious Science 1613 Lake Drive, Encinitas WHEN: Saturday, October 23, at 7:30 p.m. DONATION: Blanket or Warm Clothing
