Geranium Show Is May 19-20

My old friend Melissa Worton asked me to post this message:

35th Annual Geranium Show And Sale

Have you ever wanted to have a beautiful garden that is the envy of the neighborhood? Or, wanted flowers that are so simple to care for, you can almost forget that they are there?

This year the San Diego Geranium Society will have thousands of plants and hundreds of varieties with a multitude of colors available for sale at its annual show from 10-4 p.m. on Saturday, the 19th, and Sunday, the 20th of May. The varieties include: zonals, ivy leaf, regals (“Martha Washingtons”), and scented leaf, in addition to several unique species.

The event will be held at Balboa Park's Casa del Prado patio area and in room 1010. This year’s theme is a "Country Fair."

Geraniums have become so popular because of their unbelievable color combinations, countless varieties, a high drought tolerance, and for being easily grown with very minimum care.
